Thematic Photographic 294: Landscapes

A broad theme this week, and I have some shots that fit! See more landscapes at Written Inc

These are from a road trip to the South Island of New Zealand.

  1. The last shot clearly show the angle of dip of the rocks. A geologist would love it there.

  2. Very pretty!

What is that water in the last pic?

    1. It is the Clutha River, thunder, where it goes through the Cromwell Gorge.
The river is fed by glacial melt, which is why it's that colour :)

  3. Some day I will get to New Zealand! Wonderful photos, the colours and look at that first photo, the clouds, the bit of blue sky and sheep! Thanks Alexia. And think about the Camino as a retirement gift to yourself eventually. That's how I did it! Life can get so complicated and full of everything! The Camino is very simple, how far do I walk, where am I sleeping and when will I eat. That's it!

  5. Oh my, now these are some serious landscape captures. That body of water, or river, or? is quite remarkable too! I bet it was a wonderful road trip.
